I’m Larry Darrell, the Professor of Freedonomics here. I study, write about and practice ways to be more free. About trade offs we make every day. Transactions where we exchange our freedom for things. About freedonomic decisions.
I’ve been on a quest for more freedom my entire life, but for most of it, the quest has been misguided and fraught with dead ends. Its only in the past few years that I’ve really found some success. Don’t get me wrong, the prior years were mostly good. I’ve got a great marriage, six kids who keep my life very interesting and a secure corporate job that provides for us all.
But with all the pressures is life – family, culture, money, relationships, expectations – I’m always in search of more meaning, more contentment and more freedom. I hope you can take something from my experience and studies to apply in your own life.
